Electronic radiator is a device to speed up the heat emission of the heating body. There are two aspects to measure the quality of a radiator: heat dissipation and mute. Integrated circuits are widely used in computer components. As we all know, high temperature is the enemy of integrated circuits. High temperature will not only lead to unstable operation and short service life of the system, but also may burn some components. The heat that causes the high temperature does not come from outside the computer, but from inside the computer, or inside the integrated circuit. The function of the electronic radiator is to absorb the heat and then radiate it to the inside or outside of the computer case to ensure the normal temperature of the computer components. Most radiators absorb heat by contacting with the surface of the heating parts, and then transmit the heat to the distance through various methods, such as the air in the case, and then the case transmits the hot air to the outside of the case to complete the heat dissipation of the computer. 1.1 the surface of radiator shall be free of shrinkage, rust, crack and other defects;
1.2 the metal fasteners (pressing plate, gland, disc spring) of the flat radiator and the conductive sheet of the water-cooled radiator shall be protected by coating;
1.3 the maximum allowable surface roughness Ra of the radiator table is 3.2 m;
1.4 the flatness of the surface of the radiator shall not be lower than grade 9;
1.5 the surface of radiator (including radiator, fastener and insulator) used for wet tropical power semiconductor devices shall be protected, and its resistance to humidity, salt fog and mould shall meet the corresponding standards for tropical power semiconductor devices;
1.6 special fasteners and insulating parts for radiators shall conform to gbb446.3 (insulation parts and fasteners for radiators for power semiconductor devices)
1.7 the tightening torque or tightening pressure for the installation of radiator and power semiconductor shall conform to the relevant provisions of the device product standard;
1.8 size of the central locating pin for the installation of the flat radiator table: 2.5mm in diameter, lmmo 2.1 higher than the table. The water quality of the cooling water should have certain requirements: the resistivity of the circulating water should not be less than 2.5ki2, the pH value should be between 6} 9; the inlet water temperature should not be higher than 35 ℃, and the water flow rate should be 4-8l / min;
2.2 when it is used for high voltage or high voltage devices, the above water quality requirements or higher water quality requirements must be ensured;
2.3 during the operation of water-cooled radiator, special attention shall be paid to prevent water leakage, blockage and condensation.
2.4 when the air-cooled radiator is installed, the radiator blade shall follow the direction of cooling air flow; the inlet air temperature shall not be higher than 400C, and the inlet wind speed shall be 4 - 6mls;
2.5 because the air-cooled radiator has the characteristics of wind resistance parameters, when selecting the radiator in the whole machine, check the relationship curve between heat resistance, flow resistance and wind speed of the radiator according to the load requirements and fan capacity, and comprehensively consider the two parameters of heat resistance and wind resistance of the radiator. There are a large number of low-quality radiators in the market. This kind of radiator has a big gap with the national industry standard in terms of the material, processing requirements, component quality, etc. it has a great impact on the life of the device and the quality of the whole machine in use. Users can distinguish from the following aspects when selecting:
3.1 the quality of materials (purity, thickness, processing accuracy, etc.) and manufacturing process (cracks, shrinkage cavities, etc.) as well as poor materials and rough and defective processes will directly affect the thermal conductivity of the radiator;
3.2 the surface roughness and flatness of the radiator contact surface directly affect the contact thermal resistance and pressure drop;
3.3 the disc spring used for radiator shall ensure that the free height is stable after 24 hours of flattening, otherwise the spring may fail after a period of use, which will cause poor contact between radiator and pipe core. When installing the radiator, a lot of pressure or torque is required. Because the diameter of the surface of the radiator is larger than the diameter of the tube core, the surface of the radiator will be deformed under the action of this pressure or moment. If another pipe core with the same or larger diameter is installed on the radiator, the contact between the table top and the surface of the pipe core will be poor, so that good heat dissipation effect cannot be guaranteed.
If the user needs to reuse the radiator, it is necessary to ensure that the surface roughness, parallelism and flatness of the radiator table meet the requirements, otherwise it is easy to damage the device due to overheating in operation. In particular, the water-cooled series of radiators, before reuse, must carefully check the deformation of its table, if there is obvious subsidence, it should be replaced.
In order to ensure good heat dissipation conditions, each tube core shall have corresponding radiator matching. In hot and humid season, the water-cooled radiator is prone to condensation. If not paid attention, it is very easy to cause the equipment insulation to fall and cause short circuit fault. For most use environments, the following precautions should be taken to prevent condensation.
5.1 in hot and humid seasons, pay attention to the temperature difference between the ambient temperature and the cooling water not less than 5 ℃;
5.2 in case of power failure, the water shall be cut off immediately after the switch is closed; in case of start-up, the switch shall be closed immediately after the water is connected, and the opening and closing operations shall be closely connected with the water breaking and opening operations, and the sequence shall not be reversed. When the device works at the current frequency above 6KHz, the heating effect of the fastening screw, gland and other parts of the radiator shall be considered. When installing and arranging the device, the user shall pay attention to avoid making the above parts in the position with strong induction heating effect. If necessary, stainless steel material can be considered.
